Some dudes known as Vitreous
Originally formed by Justin Lavin and George S. in 2006, the band has gone thru more than just a few changes over the last 3 years. There are but only one of the remaining 'original' members from the EP in the band as of the start of the year for one thing and that was not all that changed in late 2009.
Matt Stark, one of the bands primary song writers announed in early December of 2009 that he would need to bow out of the band for an unknown period of time. Stark was the writer of one of the bands more popular tracks Life Un.Sensored and was the vocalist on the recorded version as well. Matt had also been filling the lead vocal duties since late 2008 when George retired the microphone to persue his automotive ventures.
Enter 2010: The lineup is Michael Wells, George Cole, Mike Beckert and Ian Murray.
Since about November of 2009 the band was taking time away from shows and writing and polishing new material for the upcoming LP. It was at this time that Michael Wells was approached to assume the duties of lead vocals. The change to the sound was very cool and dynamic, so ultimately Myke was brought on full time.
Matt's departure: was "Very, very sad" - said George, but it was in no way negative. Matt's exit was only out of need. Much of the band is very young and mostly un-attached, but life is life and as Vitreous is still not Hollywood Rockstars just yet, we gotta take care of business first sometimes. Vitreous is certian they haven't seen the last of Matt just yet.
January started off with a bang! Having put the first BMORE Rehearsal under their belts, Vitreous is gearing up for some live shows as well as tuning up once more for some studio work.
